The soprano saxophonist, singer and composer Nanna Carling has, through hundreds of live performances in just a few years, made herself widely known for her energetic stage presence, crystal-clear musicality and sparkling charisma.

 

With inspiration from icons such as Sidney Bechet, Billie Holiday and Johnny Hodges, Nanna stylishly and passionately delivers the musical traditions of jazz to both new fans and already die-hard enthusiasts. Every performance is a real happy pill - with high energy and contagious joy of playing!

2025 will be another busy year for Nanna Carling! On February 14, her second full-length album, Melodies For Two, will be released, a romantic story consisting solely of Nanna's own compositions.

This means that 2025 will continue in the sign of intensive touring - above all with Nanna Carling Swingband.

 

In recent years alone, Nanna Carling has made well over a hundred acclaimed concert appearances. In addition to jazz clubs and jazz festivals such as Gothenburg Jazz Festival (which she headlined in 2024), Riverboat Jazz Festival (DK), Jazzboz (NL) and Zlota Tarka Old jazz meeting (PL), she has also played on summer stages, steamboats, sing-along evenings, castles and in the context of pride, etc.

 

Nanna has also been seen on TV and as a guest on other bands' tours. The audience is broad and the music is timeless – Nanna Carling hits home everywhere. Nanna's energetic live performances combined with a strong social media presence have given Nanna a multi-thousand-fold fan base all over the world.
